Brett Menton traded to Battle Creek for financial considerations

The Danbury Hat Tricks have agreed to a trade with the Battle Creek Rumble Bees. Versatile swingman Brett Menton has been dealt to the Rumble Bees for financial considerations. Also included in the trade with Menton were the rights to defender Sam Williams, who has been playing in the SPHL with the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

Menton played both forward and defense in his time with the Hat Tricks, skating in 14 games. He potted a goal against the Rumble Bees in his first weekend with the team on November 23rd.

This is the second trade between the Hat Tricks and Rumble Bees, as defenseman Sebastian Crystal was also traded to Battle Creek earlier this season for financial considerations.
