Brian Wilson Named FPHL Goalie of the Month

Danbury, CT- Hat Tricks Goaltender Brian Wilson was named the Federal Prospect Hockey League's Goaltender of the Month for the months of October & November, the first league-wide monthly awards of the 2022-23 FPHL Season. 

In nine games, Wilson posted an 8-0-0-1 record with a league-high .927 save percentage and a 2.50 goals against average, second in the FPHL. 

In three games, Wilson eclipsed the 40 save plateau in the Hat Tricks' net, posting 42 saves on November 4th in Carolina, recording 41 the next night in an overtime loss, the only so far for the Hat Tricks, and notching 41 on November 19th at Motor City while also recording an assist on Dmitry Kuznetsov's overtime winning goal. 

His highest save percentage in a single game came in his season debut against the Binghamton Black Bears on October 28th, stopping 23 of 24 shots on net.
