Casey Bryant named Director of Communications for Hat Tricks

The Danbury Hat Tricks are happy to welcome Casey Bryant to the team as Director of Communications. Bryant will handle media relations duties, be involved in business development with a focus in group sales as well as serve as play-by-play broadcaster on the team’s webcasts.

Prior to joining the Hat Tricks, Bryant was an employee at MSG Networks for four years in their on-air promotions and commercial traffic departments. There, he wrote and edited commercial spots for all MSG-affiliated teams and original programming, plus generated in-game promo copy for MSG Networks’ on-air talent.

“Joining the Danbury Hat Tricks is an amazing opportunity,” said Bryant. “There’s a tremendous chance to grow and build something really special. It’s a thrill to be a part of a pro team!”

Bryant has served as the play-by-play voice of the Marist College Red Foxes hockey team since 2015. He is the Vice-Chairman and Founder of the Marist College Hockey Hall of Fame, established in 2017. He has also broadcasted for the New York Apple Core (EHL), the Jersey Hitmen (USPHL) and the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders (USPHL). Additionally, he is a consistent contributor to SB Nation’s The Ice Garden covering women’s hockey.

Bryant is from Lagrangeville, New York and graduated from Marist College in 2017 as a sports communication major with a minor in theater.

“I’ve gained a lot of experience, both in working as a broadcaster and in a fast-paced professional environment like MSG Networks,” Bryant commented. “I want to bring my best to the table for the Hat Tricks this season.”

Bryant will make his Danbury broadcasting debut in the Hat Tricks’ season opener Friday, October 25th at 7 p.m. Individual game tickets are on sale now. For more information, call the team office at 203-794-9679.
