Danbury Hat Tricks Acquire McKitrick from Mississippi

Danbury, CT- The Danbury Hat Tricks have acquired forward Daniel McKitrick in a trade with the Mississippi Sea Wolves. Mississippi has acquired defenseman Connor Lind.

McKitrick, a 5’-7” forward from Coral Harbour, Nunavut, has played 21 games this season for Mississippi, scoring 9 goals and 8 assists for 17 points. McKitrick previously played two years of University Hockey at Lakehead University, in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

"He really fits our mold," Hat Tricks general manager and coach Billy McCreary said. "He's got a lot of energy, he's an excellent skater, high compete level, high skill. He should be a guy that comes in and could break into our top six."

Lind had one assist in ten games with the Hat Tricks.

McKitrick is expected to make his Hat Tricks debut on Friday night when the Carolina Thunderbirds come to Hat City. Puck drops at 7:30 PM ET.
