DANBURY NAMES PATRICK GRUDBERG AS NEW DIRECTOR OF BROADCASTING AND VOICE OF THE HAT TRICKS

DANBURY – The Danbury Hat Tricks are excited to announce the hiring of Patrick Grudberg as the organization’s new Director of Broadcasting Operations for the 2026-27 season.

Grudberg officially joins the organization after serving as the team’s broadcaster for all home games in 2025-26. In this new role, he will oversee broadcast operations while handling all written content for the team website. With his arrival, the Hat tricks return to a full home and away broadcast slate this season. His role will also involve ticket and sponsorship sales working in the business office.

Prior to joining the Hat Tricks, Grudberg has worked as a freelance sports broadcaster in the greater New England area, calling games on ESPN+, Northeast Sports Network and other broadcast platforms. He has featured on broadcasts for schools such as Wesleyan University, Connecticut College, Post University, Marist University, and the College of the Holy Cross.

A 2024 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Grudberg began his broadcasting journey calling games on WCHC 88.1 FM, his alma mater’s campus radio station. He received a B.A. in history, graduating summa cum laude. Patrick grew up and resides in North Haven, Connecticut where he graduated from North Haven High School. He is a die-hard Giants, Rangers, Tottenham, and UConn Huskies fan.
