DANBURY SIGNS FORWARD JACK JARVIS

DANBURY – The Danbury Hat Tricks announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Jack Jarvis on a PTO contract for the 2026-27 season.

Jarvis, 21, comes to Danbury from Portage College in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference where he spent the 2025-26 season. In 21 games for the Voyageurs, the London, Ontario native collected 5 goals and 10 assists en route to a semifinal appearance in the ACAC conference tournament.

In his final year of junior hockey in 2024-25, Jarvis played for the Iroquois Falls Storm in the NOJHL, racking up 25 goals and 19 assists in 53 games. He now heads to Danbury for his first year of professional hockey.

The ACAC has a strong reputation for producing professional talent on both the men’s and women’s sides. Shannon Szabados, a two-time Olympic gold medalist with Team Canada, notably got her start in the ACAC at both MacEwan University and NAIT.

Current Danbury Head Coach John Bierchen crossed paths with Szabados from 2014 to 2016 as an assistant with the Columbus Cottonmouths. The Canadian netminder made SPHL history in March of 2014 as the first women to play in the league. She was one of many former ACAC players that Bierchen coached during his time in the SPHL.

On the Jarvis signing, John Bierchen stated, “I have had good luck with ACAC players in the past, and I’m sure Jack will bring just as much to this team as those ACAC players did in the past.”

General Manager A.J. Galante added further comments, saying, “Jack is an intriguing prospect. He is a natural center who is exceptional on faceoffs and utilizes his size with his physical play. Aside from a great shot and playmaking abilities, he is defensively responsible which will only help him as a professional.”
