Danbury trades DiNicola to Battle Creek

Forward Nick DiNicola has been traded to the Battle Creek Rumble Bees. The Hat Tricks will receive financial considerations in exchange for the young winger.

DiNicola, a Connecticut native, made an immediate impact on the Hat Tricks, netting the first hat trick in team history in his first game on December 6th. He would skate in four games as a member of the team, tallying five goals and two assists. An upper-body injury has sidelined him since December 14th.

It remains to be seen when DiNicola will make his Battle Creek debut. The Hat Tricks, meanwhile, will visit the Delaware Thunder tonight for the start of a weekend set. They will return home next weekend, Feb. 14 and 15, for two more games against Delaware. Tickets are available by clicking here.
