Hat Tricks Acquire Forward Aleksandr Gamzatov from Watertown

DANBURY — The Danbury Hat Tricks acquired forward Aleksandr Gamzatov from the Watertown Wolves for future considerations.

Gamzatov, 22, spent the majority of the 2023-24 season with Watertown after starting the year with the Binghamton Black Bears. In 49 games for the Wolves, the 6-foot-2-inch winger totaled 12 goals, 24 assists, and 38 penalty minutes. 

Prior to his pro career, the Russia native played one season in the EHL with the New Jersey 87's (2022-23) notching 29 points (11g, 18a) in 37 games and three goals in three playoff games. From 2020-22, Gamzatov dressed for three teams in the NA3HL—the St. Louis Jr. Blues, Long Island Sharks, and Texas Jr. Brahmas.

Before coming to North America, the second-year pro played two seasons of youth hockey with The Hill Academy in Caledon, Ontario.
