HAT TRICKS ADD FORWARD RYAN GLAZER
DANBURY – The Danbury Hat Tricks announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Ryan Glazer on a PTO contract for the 2026-27 season.
Glazer arrives in Danbury having completed his first season in the FPHL. In total, the Montreal native spent time with four different organizations, playing games for only two. After playing 4 games with the Twin City Thunderbirds, the forward spent 16 more games with the Indiana Sentinels in their inaugural season. With Indiana, he produced 14 goals and 3 assists, producing offense at a point-per-game clip.
On February 25th, after his successful stay with the Sentinels, Glazer was traded to the Baton Rouge Zydeco. The forward did not appear in any games for the Zydeco. 12 days later, on March 9th, the Zydeco sent Glazer on to the Hat Tricks in exchange for goalie Sebastian Resar. The Québécois did not play any games for Danbury to finish the 2025-2026 season.
Before embarking on his professional career last season, Glazer played three seasons of Division 3 hockey at Morrisville State College. In 53 career games for the Mustangs, the forward collected 9 goals and 12 assists competing in the SUNYAC.
Danbury Head Coach John Bierchen gave input on the signing. “Glazer spent three years at Morrisville, which the SUNYAC always produces good players for professional hockey, especially for the FPHL. He put up a point per game in Indiana. We really liked him back then. When we acquired him, we were hoping that he would be able to finish the year with us, but he had an injury so he wasn’t able to. So we’re really happy that we were able to sign him now so that way he can start the year with us. We saw a lot of really good things from his play in Indiana, and we definitely expect him to build off of those numbers and be even better in Danbury.”
Hat Tricks General Manager A.J. Galante added his thoughts, saying, “a pure scorer is hard to come by. For all the positives we had [with] personnel last season, I feel I failed in terms of locating a true goal scoring threat whenever he touches the puck. I believe we found that in Ryan Glazer. He is a versatile forward with an elite shots-on-goal percentage. He is going to be truly fun to watch in orange and black.”
The entire Hat Tricks organization extends a warm welcome to Ryan Glazer.
