Free Agent Camp 2020 was a fruitful one for Anthony Bohn and company. The Danbury Hat Tricks added four players at the conclusion of their three-day tryout session, bringing Nicholas McNally, Andrew Vega, Samuel Gagnon and Camden Cacolice on with PTO contracts.

“Our free agent camp was competitive," commented Bohn, head coach of the Hat Tricks. "We appreciate all the prospective players who attended and followed the protocols with our arena and staff to have a successful camp."

McNally, 27, played 30 games over three seasons at the D-III level, most recently with Framingham State University last season. Vega, 32, spent three seasons in the KIJHL. Gagnon, 24, graduated from Franklin Pierce University, posting nine points in 31 games his senior season at the D-III level. Cacolice, 25, led the ACHA Westfield State University Owls in scoring last season, notching 36 points in 19 games.

"The players we signed out of free agent camp all posses qualities we, in Danbury are looking for," Bohn explained. "[We want] high hockey IQ, high compete levels and the ability to adapt. We're excited about the next phase of the off-season and getting into Training Camp soon.”
