Hat Tricks Announce New Hockey Operations Assistant
Danbury - The Danbury Hat Tricks are proud to announce that current team Merchandise Manager, Max Sorcher, has now added an additional role within the organization as the Assistant, Hockey Operations.Max’s roles and responsibilities with center on working with the coaching staff (Bierchen, Maerkl, & Krupinsky) and General Manager, AJ Galante on uncovering talent and growing the team’s Free Agent Tryout Camp to be held later this summer.
Max, who has grown up in the Danbury Ice Arena, commented, “The City of Danbury knows hockey – we’ve seen how electric this building can be. We are focused on bringing that back. Hard-nosed, high energy and built for this city.”
Max also added, “My favorite players over the years have been Nico Levesque, Jonny Ruiz, Michael Marchesan, Dillon Kelley, and Ryan Patsch who was on the Danbury Whalers. All of those guys are tremendous players and they also were individuals of the highest character. That’s the standard we want.”
Hat Tricks General Manager, AJ Galante, commented, “Max has always been very intelligent and analytical which is extremely important when building a team. I look forward to working with him more – I believe he will be a huge asset for the hockey operations department.”
