DANBURY — The Danbury Hat Tricks are proud to promote Paige Lugo to Director of Youth Hockey.

Lugo, a three-time captain of Post University’s Division I ice hockey team, started working with the Danbury Hat Tricks' girl’s program three years ago and is the head coach of the 16U squad.

“I’m very passionate about youth hockey and making sure every child has the opportunity to play and excel at hockey,” said Lugo. “I’ve had the pleasure of helping develop the girl’s program in Danbury for the past three years and I’m excited to expand into the boy’s program! Hockey has been a huge part of my life and I’m excited to give back to the Danbury community.”

Previous to her time in Danbury, Lugo was the head coach of the Fairfield University women’s club ice hockey team and a coach for the Southeast Sharks AA in Steinbach, MB, CAN.

Additionally, Paige is the wife of Hat Tricks forward Evan Lugo.

Congratulations, Paige!
