Hat Tricks Announce Partnership with Twisters Ice Cream Café

DANBURY — Ice cream is back inside the Danbury Ice Arena! The Danbury Hat Tricks are proud to announce a partnership with Twisters Ice Cream Café for the 2023-24 season.

Twisters Ice Cream Café - located at 74 CT-37, New Fairfield, CT 06812 - will sell an assortment of its delicious homemade ice cream inside the Danbury Arena during all 28 Hat Tricks home games this season. Twisters Ice Cream Stand will be set up in the near left corner underneath the Animal House (Section 200).

Twisters Ice Cream Café offers 32 mouth-watering flavors of ice cream and Italian ices, some permanent and others rotational. The ice cream is made on premises and with family recipes. Miguel Pereira, the owner, decided to open the café to grow his family’s roots in the greater Danbury community. His stepfather, Tony Corte-Real, started his ice cream journey in Danbury as the owner of local shop and owns a Twisters Ice Cream Café in Palm Coast, Florida, which opened in 2016.

"We are excited to join the Hat Tricks Organization and serve such a great fan base and community the homemade ice cream they deserve," said Pereira. "As we say at Twisters, 'life is like an ice cream, enjoy it before it melts.'"
