Hat Tricks Finalize Trade with Monroe, Send Forward Corey Cunningham

DANBURY — Forward Corey Cunningham has been dealt to the Monroe Moccasins, completing the Nov. 21 trade that brought defenseman Charlie Bedard and forward Noah Robinson to the Danbury Hat Tricks.

Cunningham, last season's Hat Tricks Rookie of the Year, had an impressive freshman campaign finishing second on the team in goals (23), fifth in points (42), second in power-play goals (7), and tied for second in game-winning goals (3). The Prince George, British Columbia, native was also named an Empire Division First Team All-Rookie.

Despite being sidelined with an upper-body injury since Nov. 8, Cunningham made an impact early in his second season, tallying six points (3 goals, 3 assists) in seven games.
