HAT TRICKS PARTNER WITH NEW HAVEN NIGHTHAWKS BREWING

by Hat Tricks Staff

DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Hat Tricks announce that the organization will continue its partnership with New Haven Nighthawk Brewing Company.

This season, New Haven Nighthawks brewing is introducing their “American Fanatic Ale,” a beer to commemorate the fans of the New Haven Nighthawks as well as honor Section 102 at Danbury Arena.

New Haven Nighthawk Brewing Company is co-owned and operated by Jeffrey Haynes and Thomas Melfi. Nighthawk beers are brewed and bottled by Overshores Brewing Company at The Beeracks in East Haven, CT. The Nighthawks name comes from the New Haven Nighthawks AHL team, which played from 1972-1992.

“We wanted to honor Section 102 because some of the people from Section 14 migrated to Danbury and brought that fierce attitude,” said Haynes. “Some still wear the Nighthawk jerseys. It’s a shared love for Connecticut hockey.”

As part of the sponsorship, Hat Tricks fans will be able to enjoy Nighthawks beers at Danbury Arena throughout the season.

The Hat Tricks open the 2021-22 season at Danbury Arena on Friday, Oct. 29 against the Port Huron Prowlers at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at danburyhattricks.com/tickets.
