Hat Tricks Re-Sign Forward Dmitry Kuznetsov

DANBURY — The Danbury Hat Tricks have re-signed forward Dmitry Kuznetsov to a contract for the 2023-24 season.

The 27-year-old Russian has 123 points (58g, 65a) in 122 regular and postseason games during his two seasons with the Hat Tricks. His 122 games played is second most in the franchise’s four-year history.

Kuznetsov is second all-time in goals (58) and points (123), and sits third in assists (65).

Additionally, the 6-foot winger ranks third in points scored in a single-season (68 in 2021-22), fourth in assists (34 in 2021-22), and fifth in goals (34 in 2021-22).

Kuznetsov spent three seasons (2017-18 – 2019-20) playing in Russia, Denmark, and Germany. Prior to that, the Tyumen, Russia native suited up for four seasons in the WSHL (Western States Hockey League).

The Hat Tricks open their 56-game regular season against the Watertown Wolves in a home-and-home series starting on the road, Oct. 13 before returning to the Danbury Ice Arena the next night, Oct. 14, for the Home Opener and banner raising.
