Hat Tricks Share Thoughts on Successful Alumni Weekend

DANBURY — With the 4th Annual Alumni game/weekend in the books, we wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts.

Congratulations again to our four inductees – Dom Alessandro, Phil Bronner, Jason McCrimmon, and Brad Wingfield. Each of you paved the path to your spot in the rafters and you joined a very distinguished membership of names.

Thank you to all the members of Danbury Hockey history who made the journey back to the Danbury Ice Arena. For some, it was their first return into building since the last time they put on skates for the home team.

As always, gratitude to the Galante Family – Jim & AJ for their vision back in 2004 and their continued support today as they personally ensured all arrangements for Brad Wingfield’s return were in place.

It was absolutely fantastic to see the Trashers, Mad Hatters, Whalers, Titans, & Hat Tricks all sharing the building together. The camaraderie was off the charts – the bond is forever.

As the alumni circulated throughout the building, the theme was common – there is no place like Danbury - the fans are second to none. We want to thank you, the fans of Danbury Hockey, for making this weekend.

It’s the cheers for the past and passion for the future, you have made the Danbury Ice Arena a can’t miss stop on the tour of Minor League Hockey and there is no place like it.
