HAT TRICKS SIGN FORWARD ISAC KARLSSON

DANBURY - The Danbury Hat Tricks announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Isac Karlsson on a PTO contract for the 2026-27 season.

Karlsson comes to Danbury after an extremely successful two-and-a-half season stint in the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League (GMHL) with the Bradford Rattlers. In 119 career games for Bradford, the Swede tallied 136 goals and 175 assists, an impressive 311 point total.

Producing at a goal-per-game clip, Karlsson leaves Bradford as the Rattlers’ franchise-leading goalscorer. The forward surpassed the previous record of 86 career goals with a goal on November 2nd, 2025 vs the Wasaga River Dragons.

Hat Tricks Head Coach John Bierchen offered comments on the signing. “[Isac] is a dynamic offensive player. Electric would probably be the best word to describe him. He’s put up 100 points or nearly 100 points the last two years playing juniors, and that’s usually a recipe for success in this league. We really look forward to having him and bringing that electric offensive style to Danbury.”

General Manager AJ Galante also expressed his excitement about the signing. “Isac Karlsson was one of the most sought after free agent players in hockey and the number one target on our big board. He has every tool imaginable on and off the ice. He is one of the most humble people you can meet. He is going to score a lot of goals and make a lot of fans. I believe Isac will be a favorite in the Rookie of the Year award race when the season ends.”

Galante concluded by saying, “his trust in us in starting his pro career here in Danbury is a testament to what we are building and players taking notice.”
