Hat Tricks Sign Forward Michal Novák to PTO

DANBURY — The Danbury Hat Tricks signed forward Michal Novák to a PTO.

The 21-year-old Czech spent the last two seasons as an alternate captain in the USPHL, 2023-24 with the Atlanta Mad Hatters (42 GP, 15-19-34, 84 PIM) and 2022-23 with the San Diego Sabres (45 GP, 33-41-74), 115 PIM). The 5-foot-11-inch forward suited up in five playoff games during that span posting a goal, an assist, and 19 penalty minutes.

Additionally, Novák was the captain of HC Slavia Praha B U18 in 2018-19 where he compiled 44 points (19g, 25a) and 46 penalty minutes in 38 games.

The Hat Tricks are a Single-A professional hockey team based in Danbury, Connecticut. Established in 2019, the 2022-23 Commissioner’s Cup Champions compete in the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL).
