Hat Tricks sign Nick DiNicola to roster

by Casey Bryant

The Danbury Hat Tricks are bringing a local kid home. Forward Nick DiNicola has signed with the Danbury Hat Tricks and is expected to join the team for this weekend's set against the Delaware Thunder.

DiNicola, a Wolcott native, was most recently with the Quad City Storm of the SPHL. He graduated from Division III Fitchburg State in 2019, where he served as captain registered 42 points in 26 games his senior season. After graduation, he joined the Knoxville Ice Bears in the SPHL and posted six points in six games, helping the Ice Bears into the playoffs.

"Nick brings a lot of energy to our team," head coach/general manager Billy McCreary praised. "He possesses pucks down low, is crafty off the walls and has the ability to be a key factor in all three zones."

The Hat Tricks square off with the Delaware Thunder this Friday and Saturday night at Danbury Arena at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here. Friday night is our Great Carrot Toss where kids 14 and under can win a Nintendo Switch, and Saturday night is Teacher Appreciation Night.
