Teddy Balkind was a bright, kind-hearted young man whose warmth, sportsmanship, and quiet leadership left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. A passionate hockey player, Teddy embodied teamwork, humility, and joy both on and off the ice. Following his tragic passing in 2022, the Teddy Balkind Charitable Foundation was created to honor his legacy by supporting local, grassroots organizations that bring people together and spread kindness in their communities. Through this fundraising event, we aim to celebrate Teddy’s life and carry forward the values he lived by—generosity, connection, and compassion—by raising funds that will directly support the Foundation’s mission to promote joy and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

ArtFul Visual Arts Initiative, Inc. is a non-profit, community-based initiative that supports opportunities for working and aspiring artists.
