The Flyin' Hawaiian Stays in Danbury, Signs Standard Contract

DANBURY — The Danbury Hat Tricks have re-signed defenseman/forward Zach Pamaylaon to a standard contract.

The Flyin' Hawaiian is returning for his third season with the Hat Tricks after winning the "Fan Favorite" and Hat Tricks" awards last year. The 28-year-old has played in 95 games over two seasons with the team, tallying 47 points (14g, 33a) and racking up 236 penalty minutes.

Before turning professional, the Aiea, Hawaii, native played four years at Bryn Athyn College, spending three seasons at the NCAA Division III level and one in ACHA Division II. In the 2019-20 season (ACHA ll), ZP totaled 73 points (26 goals, 47 assists) in 20 games.

The Hat Tricks are a Single-A professional hockey team based in Danbury, Connecticut. Established in 2019, the 2022-23 Commissioner’s Cup Champions compete in the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL).
