USHL standout Joey Strada joins Hat Tricks

The Danbury Hat Tricks have added speed and skill to their forward corps, inking 21-year-old Joey Strada to the team.

Strada, a Scottsdale, Arizona native, spent his 2019-20 season at the Tier I junior level in the USHL, racking up 38 points in 47 games between the Des Moines Buccaneers and the Waterloo Black Hawks. He previously skated with the Aberdeen Wings for three seasons in the NAHL, accumulating 144 points in 173 games and winning a 2019 Robertson Cup.

Strada played eight games in Sweden's Hockeyettan league before joining Danbury.

"Joey has a very high-end skill set that matches his compete level," praised head coach Anthony Bohn. "He has been a top player in some of the highest levels of Junior hockey and he's been successful. We are excited to see him at the pro level, especially in Danbury.”
