Winger Evan Schultz joins Hat Tricks

by Casey Bryant

Veteran winger Evan Schultz is the latest Danbury Hat Trick to sign on for the 2020-21 season.

Schultz, 27, was a career point-per-game player at the Division III level with Salve Regina University. After graduating in 2017, he signed with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs in the SPHL. He would go on to play for the Birmingham Bulls and Evansville Thunderbolts, racking up 50 points in 87 games in the league.

He spent last season with the Pingouins de Morzine-Avoriaz in France, racking up 26 points in 18 games and leading the team to a 16-2-0 record.

“Evan brings a strong professional foundation," said head coach Anthony Bohn. "We look forward to him adding to what we think is an already strong core."

Danbury is expected to release upcoming ticket information and scheduling for the 2020-21 season shortly. The team will be hosting a virtual meet-and-greet with new head coach Anthony Bohn Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 1pm on their Youtube channel.
